Weather Update. The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has announced that a severe low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal has crossed the coast. Due to its impact, it is expected that heavy rains are likely to occur in the western, southern and eastern Telangana districts. A yellow alert has been issued for the respective districts. However, it has been said that another low pressure area is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal.
